SCUBA DIVING
Welcome to the Second Largest Barrier Reef in the World
LOCAL REEF DIVING
San Pedro runs all along the world's 2nd largest barrier reef. Dive just minutes from your resort to numerous dive sites all along the coast of Ambergris Caye. Dive the Caverns, Rocky Point, Tres Cocos or even numerous sites in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve System. No need to go very far for some of the best diving in the world. You must be PADI, SSI, or NAUI certified for the local dives below.
Single Tank Dive - Single tank dive in the morning or afternoon. We leave at 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Includes tank and weights.
Two Tank Dive - Two tank dives either in the morning or afternoon. We leave at 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Dives include tanks and weights, and refreshments.
Night Dive - This single tank night dive leaves our dock at approximately 5:30 to 6:00 pm to Hol Chan Marine Reserve or Tuffy Canyon outside the reef. Includes flashlight, tank and weights.
OFFSHORE DIVES
These dives are best reserved in advance. You must have a PADI Open Water Certification, SSI Scuba Diver, Naui Scuba Diver rating card for the Blue Hole.
Blue Hole - Starts the day with a 5:30 am pick up at the dock and provides a light breakfast, coffee and juice. You will dive the famous Great Blue Hole located in the middle of the Lighthouse Reef Atoll, followed by dives at Half Moon Caye and Long Caye. These dives are all spectacular! You will arrive back about 5:30 to 6:00 pm.
Includes full gear, tanks, weights, breakfast, lunch, snacks, water, and sodas.
Turneffe Atolls - Due east of Belize City and minutes beyond the Barrier Reef lies the Turneffe Islands Atoll. The largest of the three atolls located off the coast of Belize, Turneffe has some of the most pristine diving in Belize. You will start the day with a 5:30 am pick up from the dock. Dive sites include Turneffe Elbow South, Black Beauty, Myrtle Turtle, Front Porch, and Calabash, the choice of sites depending on the weather conditions. You will arrive back at about 5:30 pm.

DIVING COURSES
For those of you who would love to start your underwater adventure in Belize, Dive Companies offer Online PADI Open Water Diver Courses before you arrive on Island. Do not waste your vacation time studying for your certification test. Instead, do your course work at home at your leisure, and then finish up with your certification dives in the warm, crystal clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.
